My journey to understand a little bit more about chords and keys
- I don’t get I, II, III chords
- get a hunch that just play random notes in the same key(mistaken as chord) = sound ok
- go see chords of music-nier-emil_sacrifice
- Key: B_h_minor
- chords: many roman numbers
- remember that there is a keys (mistaken as chords) section in garageband
- huh but I only see minor, major, …
- somehow I start to realized that A harmonic minor, … , D harmonic minor have the same set of notes
- diff: starts from which note
- OMG
- and I, II is just another convinient way to identify chord(?) by distance from “home note” in that “key”
Harmonic minor
- even if you are newbie, you can now play some iconic songs music-hide and seek by ears
- you can now improvise many songs
- make it end with c (home note?)
- if you press keys that are too closed together in the same time (even if they’re in different octive), It will sounded a bit off
